Primer sticker shock
I just went to the local reloader supply store and bought 1000 CCI small rifle magnum primers for $27.99 plus tax. Yikes! I have a good stock of all of the other kinds of primers, but had run out of these. I still have some CCI small pistol primers that I bought at a close out in 1992 for $4 a 1000. Price of making holes is sure going up.

Tell me about it! Lapua brass has almost doubled recently :roll: and EABCO just e-mailed me to say the Scenar bullets I've ordered are out of stock. GRRR! Wonder how much they'll be if and when they get more in? :evil: Just about everything at Graf's is also out of stock. As usual I'm a day late n' a dollar short. The story of my life...

I checked my local shop last night. Lg. Rifle primers are $31.29 IMR powder is 22.50 per lb.

They're only $23.95 at Cabela's, but they don't have any.......... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

$34.99 at Gander Mountain.

Will Cabela's give you a raincheck on that price??
