Rice pudding in the slow cooker
8 cups milk
1 cup rice (not instant)
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup evap. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinammon (ground)
Wisk sugar, eggs, evap milk, vanilla, salt, cinammon... (beat eggs well).
Put your milk in slow cooker and add egg mixture and wisk abit...to mix well. Add rice and cook till done....stirring frequently as this gets warmer. You can also add 1 cup of raisins to this.
Depends on the rice you use as to how long this'll take to cook....Start checking about 2 1/2 hours. ...on low heat.
Note: You can subsitute Splenda for the sugar...I haven't tried it but I hear it comes out ok.
