SA Ultra Compact malfunctioned
Any clues what caused this malfunction? It happened twice with mags that had been loaded for awhile. It did not happen with mags loaded at the range. Both times it was the last round in the mag.

It happened twice with mags that had been loaded for awhile The ultra compacts have a very quick cycle time because of the lighter weight and size and unless the mag springs are top notch it is not bringing that last round up quick enough. I have not had a problem with the Wilson or Baer mags but the factory mags and the McCormicks I have had problems with on the last round.

I am with punchie, Switch mags. That's the easiest problem to fix. If that don't fix it let us know and we will go from their Dustin
