S&W M&P 40 Compact
Anyone have experience with the S&W M&P compact? Have the full size 40 and suits fine. Wondering about getting a nice concelable.

From what I have heard they seem to be good guns. I have shot the 45 version a few times. Felt good to shoot especially with the interchangeable backstraps Dustin

Until recently, I was working at an indoor shooting range. The job didn't pay much but it was interesting work, to say the least. We rented guns and those that worked there could try out the rentals when things were slow. The idea was, a person could sell guns better if they had shot them (even if they cold ot afford them based on the pay). Most all those I worked with, inluding myself, consider the S&W M&P the State of the Art in handguns. But not many of us cared for the .40 caliber in any handgun. Either go for the 9mm or .45 ACP, this was the overwhelming message in those I know who know guns.
