Save your brass
I just got my Midway catalog, brass has went right out of sight!!! Talk about sticker shock!!!

Looked for some 8mm yesterday, $28 for 50 thats double what it was. Maybe I'll have some luck at the gun show next week

Yeah and if ya really want sticker shock, check out the price of the lapuaa brass!!! Hell I was givin away brass here awhile back, I guess I wont be doing that anymo!!!

I have started back picking up 223, 9mm, and 40 S&W again. I thought I had all I would ever use, but current prices inspired me to pick it up again and save it.

Brass prices have gotten so high here that at our range, We are not allowed to get brass out of the brass barrel at the range anymore. The range sells it. Dustin

FWIW, Bruno's has the best price on Lapua brass-at the moment! Plus they'll sell it by the piece. But be prepared to dig deep. The BBT(big brown truck) just dropped off my la-*test*-('") order: 100 pcs of .308 and 50 pcs. 30.06. With S&H, fuel surcharges, insurance, yada, yada, yada, the grand total came to... ...(gulp!) $96.41 :roll: but if ya think that's bad, try pricing loaded ammo! :evil: :evil: :evil:

If I cant find brass at Garage Sales or Gun Shows I aint Paying those prices, they can keep it. Don't buy much at gun shows any more they want new prices fer old stuff, again they can keep it. mooner
