The Egg and I...Part II
They were waiting for me as I entered the bank. The three female tellers on duty. I could tell. They kept glancing at me as I stood in the single line waiting for my turn. As luck would have it, Sophia was not working today. Finally, I got to the head of the line. With nervous anticipation I fumbled at my billfold for my paperwork. A bead of persperation formed on my brow. They smiled when they looked in my direction as they took care of the customer at hand. What did they have in store for me?
Finally, it was my turn and Pat was the one. She motioned for me to come forward. Before I could lay my paperwork down before her, she said......"OK, empty your pockets". I, of course, put on the biggest surprised face I could muster and said, "What do you mean?" She said, "The egg". "Where is the egg"? I said, "What egg"?! Then, she went into the whole story of how Sophia told everyone about the egg and how I carried one around in my pocket. Then, I told Pat that Sophia was just pulling their legs. Who would be crazy enough to carry an egg around all the time?
Just then, two of the tellers came ove to see the egg. Then Pat told them Sophia was pulling a joke........I left.
Next time I go in, I will take an egg on the chance I get Sophia. I will lay the egg on the counter as I am finishing my business with her..........it should be good.

You could be getting in real trouble........
I mean, have you ever checked to see if a bank was held up using an egg!
The FBE could be laying for you on your next trip.
Oh, in case your wondering, that would be of course, The Federal Bureau of Eggs!
