These sugar cookies are wonderful
They make great xmas cutouts!! If you don't feel like rolling them out just drop them out on a cookie sheet!!! They were a Christmas tradition at our house, growing up, as well as for hunting season!!! Us kids ate the dough faster than dad could roll them out!!! :D Try um you will like them!!! Mix thoroughly 1and1/2 cup of shortening part butter, I use the butter flavored crisco sticks 2 cups of sugar 4 eggs 1tsp of vanilla Sift together and stir in 5 cups of flour 2 tsp of baking powder 2 tsp of salt Chill if rolling, if not just drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees 6 to 8 minutes! Sprinkle with sugar if so desired!! If ya want them iced just mix alittle powder sugar, milk and food coloring
