Somebody on Gunbroker gave it to me years ago.
It works fine but is a little noisy.

That looks like an old rock polisher. My dad bought me n' me brother one fer Christmas when we was kids. You would not believe what you can do to regular ol' everyday rocks! Do it right(takes like 3 weeks) and they'd come out looking like something in a jewelry store.
When I found out you could use one to polish brass I thought whoopee, the folks still got that old thing somewheres. Alas, mom said they sold it for next to nothing in a yard sale many moons ago. Dayum!
