Tumbling
How long do tumble your brass? I have a Frankford tumbler using the corncob media that came with it and I'm tumbling it for 2-3 hours and it doesn't look like new to me. I did add some of the polish that came with it also. Shouldn't it look like brand new or better?

It is used so it will not look like new. But it should be clean and shinny, try putting less brass in.

I switched to rice and polish that midway sells that is white instead of red. I have had good luck with it for the last few years. It cleans and polishes.

I always use chrushed walnut shells treated with "Flitz". I have one of "Midways" older large bowl tumblers. It will hold 500 .223 cases and it takes approx. 3-4 hours to make the brass look brite and shinny.
