whats it worth? number 4 mk 1 enfield by savage
i am buying a rifle this weekend and want to know what it is worth. it is a number 4 mk 1 enfield made by savage and marked u s property, supposed to have matching numbers, brass buttplate and no sling, but has 330 rounds og surplus 303 with it. i am paying $250.00 for it all. how bad am i getting bit. will post pics friday. bhk308 got it here is the photo

Sheldon, Of course condition is everything, but the price is absolutely right. FWIW: I have never seen an American made Enfield with a brass buttplate. If you don't like it/want it I will take it off your hands..... :wink:
