Got this e-mail from a friend who writes political pieces that are published around the US and outside as well. You are reading it as it came to me with the exception I blotted out his name and some stuff that does not pertain to Obama. Interesting situation setting up over the birth of Obama and the Supreme Court! Worth a read, probably a last straw "wish" but never loose HOPE. He (Obama) has not released his college and university records, nor his theses, just his book, so why would he ever release his Kenyan birth certificate? Hard to believe that someone who is/has run for President of the United States has never done this, nor did his party require it!!! If this is true and happens the SHIT is about to hit the fan big time. My God I truly hope this is some BS phony email, but this good friend has never before been suckered into sending bogus emails. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justice Souter Tells Obama To Produce Birth Certificate By December 1 This is interesting. Souter tells Obama to produce the vault copy by December 1, 2008. Who will force the issue? Who wants to open up that pandora's box? Imagine if there is something on that birth certificate that disqualifies Obama from the office of the President. What are you going to do? Start a civil war? There will be blood in the streets if you try to enforce the rule of law. This should have happened before the election. Obama knows it too. At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter's Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond. If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship. "I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate," says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. "They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe that they may have to do this, they still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect." Also remember that on December 13, the Electoral College meets to casts its votes.
