WTB Cheep revolver..........
Looking for a cheep revolver(38 sp prefered) for my daughters first apartment!
Like to find a Taurus or charter, finish is not important, as she won't care (yet, I hope she gets interested) as long as it can hit a torso at 10' that should work.

I can get you a 2" Armscore for $210 + shipping and the 4" for $200 + shipping. Or I can order anything New for you at 10% over cost + shipping all ypou need to do is let me know what model and make.
JJ,
Thanks for the reply.
I am a 01 FFL also :) SOG has a better price  thanks for the offer though. I really want something that has had some abuse as I want to see how she cares for it, if it is no worse for wear next year, I will pop for something better. 8)

Hmm, I had that idea for my nephew - I bought a Marlin 22 auto for him to see how he cared for it before I put his name on anything that is a family heirloom (he's a salter, which I found out the hard way when I didn't immediately clean a gun he had fired).
Anyway, he has now had a couple of misdemeanor convictions for violence and has narrowly avoided being charged with domestic violence so I decided he doesn't need a gun of any kind right now and perhaps not ever.
Have you considered a 9 shot 22 revolver? They are inexpensive. The potential for collateral damage in an apartment would be reduced and the number of rounds increased over a "j" frame 38.
Henry,
I would consider a .22, I get concerned about mis-fires though, not a good thing for a "defense" gun, but it might get her to shot it more, then there is less chance of that.............
Dammit Henry, now you got me thinking
