YO PA, you are not the only one...
Well PA, you are not the only one getting lake affect snow! We are getting it as well all the way donw here in KY. I want to meet the wise arse who says we are having "global warming'. He/she/they can come to KY, buy a damn winter parka, and kiss my cold arse. We are 15 degrees below normal and looks like we will stay that way for teh next 10 days at least and probably more, lots more. We are getting lake affect snow streaming all the way down to us, high in the very low 40s, and winds make the wind chill down in the 20s. Global warming my butt! We rae entering a mini ice age which always is preceded by a decade or 2 of drought around the globe in very small areas which we have had. It will be like it was in the 1700s, they walked an elphant across the Thames River in the UK. I have heard of people taling about the Ohio River freezing solid and the book "Uncle Tom's Cabin" references an escape of a slave woman across the frozen over Ohio River back in the mid 1800s. We will see it again here soon, bet on it. Al Gore and his Global Warming bunch are right with Obama and his bunch, frucking nut cases IMHO.

'tis a balmy 61 here now... but they're calling for a low of 25 tomorrow night! Guess I better go get me pipes wrapped...

10 inches yesterday and last night with up to 6 more tonight. Had to plow a path to my deer blind. Lake effect, one minute the sun is out the next you cant see fifteen feet in front of you.

and JJ, it's actually been cooling down fer a while: July 13, 1980: Highest temperature ever recorded in Atlanta (105 degrees) and Macon (108 degrees) yup, 28 years ago-I stilll remember it well-the AC ran constantly for a solid month in our apartment and 85 degrees was the best it could do(at night) It was miserable!!!
